I'd like to give a little background about my studio. Located in North Hollywood, CA, it's part of a larger building shared with Norton Sales Inc. and 41 Sets.
Norton Sales is a company that deals predominantly in aerospace props for T.V., movies, and commercials. They have a fantastic collection of rockets, satellites, and other space enterprise paraphernalia. You can see some of their inventory here: http://www.nortonsalesinc.com/
Also, within the same building is 41 Sets. They build sets for movies, T.V., Youtube, and commercials. Their website is here: http://tgtos.com/41sets/
These businesses cross over with my skillset, and we often collaborate on projects. Recently I created a futuristic jetpack for Norton Sales.
Covid-19 has heavily hit the Entertainment Industry in Hollywood. So, one has to adapt to other creative avenues. I have been busy working on my personal projects; steampunk mechanical sculptures, gadgets, and vehicles. I just finished my tenth steampunk creation!
Alongside all this, I am feeding my passion for puppets by developing caricatures for a show with animatronic silicone puppets. Hopefully, as Covid becomes under control, I will do some comedy sketches with the puppets.
Lastly, I am excited about my collaboration with a jewel trader. He asked me to reproduce raw opal still embedded in petrified wood. I will be incorporating a rare opal sample into my piece.
Stay tuned here for updates on these and other projects.
